Pathways Speech Evaluation Procedure

Where is my evaluation form?
All evaluation forms are in the Pathways curriculum in the step-by-step tutorial that appears after you click on the “Launch” button of the project. They are in PDF form and are named “Evaluation Resource…”

What do I do with the evaluation form?
You need to provide the evaluation form to your evaluator BEFORE the meeting.  Please email the PDF to your evaluator a day or two before the meeting so they have time to prepare. Then bring a print-out of the evaluation form to the meeting for your evaluator to use.
If you are doing the second of the “Evaluation and Feedback” speeches and the evaluator is NOT the original evaluator, you will also need to provide the feedback you received in the evaluation of your first speech.
After the evaluation form has been completed and returned to you, it needs to be scanned (photos from your phone are good enough) and uploaded to Pathways in order for the VPE to validate completion of the project. Please upload all completed evaluation forms to the “Feedback” section of your Pathways account as an attachment. (Necessary because I don’t have access to your “E-Portfolio.”)

What is involved in the “Evaluation and Feedback” project?
The second project of Level 1 of Pathways is called “Evaluation and Feedback” and includes three different speeches. Yes, three:
  1. The first speech which can be on any subject and is 5-7 minutes long.
  2. The second speech which can be on any subject and can be the same basic speech as the first or a completely new speech(also 5-7 minutes). This speech must incorporate the feedback from the first speech that identified areas of improvement.
  3. An evaluation of another member’s speech. This speech evaluation will be evaluated by another member who has experience in evaluating other member’s speeches. The evaluation form for this is also in the curriculum.
All speeches must be completed and evaluation forms uploaded before a Level can considered to be complete.
