At the Toastmasters Val d'Europe, you will:
▶ Give and enjoy prepared speeches in English or French ▶ Develop leadership experience ▶ Improve your communication skills ▶ Offer and receive constructive feedback ▶ You will learn improvisation and other skills in a supportive, self-paced, fun atmosphere.
Guests may attend as often as they wish, with no obligation to join. Don't worry, guests are never expected to give a speech!

2nd Summer meeting, Tuesday, September 3 - MDA 18th |
-- Second Summer Meeting - September 3rd (Tuesday) --
After the success of the July 11th meeting a number of people raised their hands at interest in a second summer meeting.
Rob (President 2013-2014) was lucky enough to secure the room at the Maison des Associations 18e for the evening
on the 3rd of September (a Tuesday evening).
Contact Rob if you are able to make it!
The September 3 Toastmasters 75 summer meeting will be held at Maison des Associations 18th

The location is just North-East of the Sacré Coeur. Please allow time to account for the different location.
The plan is to start the meeting at 7.45pm and finish by 9.45pm sharp.
This is not a dinner meeting. If someone is using the room, there is a waiting room on the ground floor.
We are allowed to bring in snacks and beverages, including wine. MDA 18 will provide us with garbage bags. The room must be put back into its original order.

The Toastmasters 75 Club - 9th Annual Joke contest with 7 jokesters and the interactive workshop was a major success!

How Does It Work?
A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone
their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.
Speak and Be Heard!
The heart of Toastmasters is communication. In Toastmasters you will learn to speak in
front of an audience in a wide variety of roles. With its proven, self-paced program, you will
build your skills and confidence for effective self-expression in any situation.
Meetings are organized and structured, yet relaxed. New members are provided with a thorough,
step-by-step training manual which is a wealth of information. The basic manual consists of ten
formal speech projects intended to gradually develop the skills of the speaker. Club members also have the caring, supportive environment of the club for encouragement and help.

How to Whitelist "tmclub.eu"
and delete @district59.eu if it is still in use.
This could cause problems signing in to tmclub.eu
Please follow the instructions to "whitelist" your gmail accounts.
This will allow messages sent using easy-Speak to reach you properly into being "spammed".
To make sure Gmail never filters as spam mail from a certain contact or domain:
- Follow the Settings link in Gmail. (Wheel button top tight)
- Go to Filters.
- Click Create a new filter.
- Type the desired email address under From:.
- To whitelist type @tmclub.eu
- Click Create filter with this search ››
- Scroll down the list and check: Never send it to Spam
- New: Check "Also apply filter to 2 matching conversation"
- Click Create Filter.
