Where: Virka Kaupungintalo (Helsinki City Hall), Pohjoisesplanadi 11-13, Helsinki
Who: Everyone is welcome to join Toastmaster members to be inspired by this showcase of public speaking.
What: Members from all of the Toastmasters’ clubs in Finland who have qualified for this event will be putting into practice the public speaking skills they have been learning. Members who are interested in competing should contact their club president or VPE to find out how they can get involved.
Members will compete against each other to find out who will deliver the most well-crafted, dynamic and engaging speech of seven minutes or less.
Public speakers recognize the importance of feedback to improve their skills; thus the second session of this event will be a speech evaluation contest in which contestants go head to head in displaying the art of an empowering evaluation.
For guests at this event, it is a wonderful opportunity to find out more about Toastmasters and see directly the Finnish clubs and the Toastmasters International organization help individuals to build their speaking, communication, and leadership skills. Come visit for all or part of the event!
