Dear Toastmasters,
30 June midnight, the Toastmasters Year 2018/2019 will end.
Thank you for your trust, commitment and support during the past 12 months!
After the reformation of District 95 in Athens, May 2018 and the birth of a newly shaped Division F, it showed to be a challenging year.
A year of enhanced learning, encountering manifold changes, closing gaps and transferring knowledge.
I believe we managed most of our challenges!
Division F succeeded in achieving the goals as set in its Division Success Plan!
We did achieve Select Distinguished status!
To all clubs, thank you for your contribution. Heartfelt congratulations to all clubs which will get recognition in the DCP program,
President‘s Distinguished (6 Clubs), Select Distinguished (2 Clubs), Distinguished (2 Clubs).
The remaining 7 clubs worked very hard, a pity that their effort cannot be officially recognized.
A year ago an international audience in Athens voted for me and paved the way for me to get a
worldclass education in communication and leadership for one year. That has meant a lot to me. It has made me feel very proud and happy.
I was given responsibility as a leader. My aim and personal wish were to direct the division in
the best way, keeping in touch with the base, listening to problems and finding solutions.
Sometimes it was very stormy I must say but we never were in danger.
Toastmasters is a safe environment, in which you never walk alone!
A great experience this year and during my 10 years of membership!
I like to look back on the year as a crosscultural learning while having fun growing as a communicator and leader.
Toastmasters International has given me what’s written in its mission:
„We empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders “.
I am grateful and happy at the end of my term for all our achievements in District 95, Division F as a team and personally.
Time to say goodbye and to hand over to the new Division F Director, Neha Attri, and her team.
I am wishing all of you a wonderful Toastmasters Year 2019/2020.
Maybe, see you in Paris in August 2020!
