Dear Division F Club Officers,
The Division will sponsor Club Officer Training on Saturday, 13th January 2018, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm.
Bürgerhaus Neckarstadt, Großer Saal Lutherstraße 15, 68169 Mannheim
There is a 15 EURO cost per participant. These funds will go towards room rentals costs, lunch and refreshments through the day.
Why attend?
Learn about your role, Pathways and how to recruit and retain club members. COT is live, hands-on training and supplements the Club Officer Handbook you should have received in the mail, and the online tutorials provided by TMI https://www.toastmasters.org/leadership-central/club-officer-tools/club-officer-tutorials.
It's also an excellent opportunity to network your Toastmasters Leadership and learn from other members.
Who can attend?
All club officers are required to attend Club Officer Training twice a Toastmaster Year. Any member is welcome to attend, even if not currently serving as a club officer.
How to attend:

Division Incentives:
If four club officers attend both the training on 29 July 2017 and 13 January 2018, your club will receive a $10 Gift Certificate for the Toastmasters Store.
If all seven of your club officers receive training in both the summer and winter session, your club will be given a Customizable Meeting Sign, Item # 6996, (a $20+ Shipping, VAT, customs value), or $20 Gift Certificate for the Toastmasters Store.

The entrance fee will be used to pay for the venue, lunch and beverages, contests materials and functions, (trophies, ballots, etc.) and programs.

Liebe Division F Clubvorstände,
die Division wird am Samstag, dem 29. Juli 2017 von 09:30 – 15:30 Uhr eine Schulung für die Clubvorstände im Bürgerhaus Neckarstadt, Großer Saal, Lutherstraße 15, 68169 Mannheim sponsern.
Die Gebühr pro Teilnehmer beträgt 10 EURO. Dieses Geld wird für die Raummiete, das Mittagessen und die Erfrischungen während des Tages verwendet.
Warum teilnehmen?
Ihr erfahrt etwas über Eure Rolle, das Setzen von Zielen, Wettbewerbe, Anreize und wie man Clubmitglieder bekommt und halten kann. Die Clubvorstandsschulung ist eine Schulung, die den praktischen Teil abdeckt und ergänzt damit das Clubvorstands-Handbuch (Theorie), das Du mit dieser Mail erhalten haben solltest, und die Online-Anleitungen, die TMI (Toastmasters International) zur Verfügung stellt https://www.toastmasters.org/leadership-central/club-officer-tools/club-officer-tutorials
Es ist auch eine ausgezeichnete Gelegenheit, um Kontakte mit der Toastmasters Führung zu knüpfen und von anderen Mitgliedern zu lernen.
Wer kann teilnehmen?
Es ist für alle Clubvorstände erforderlich zweimal jährlich an der Clubvorstands-Schulung teilzunehmen. Alle anderen Mitglieder sind herzlich eingeladen, auch wenn sie z. Z. nicht als Clubvorstand tätig sind.

Hinsichtlich Toastmasters hätte ich da ein paar Ideen. Wie wäre es mit folgendem:

Dem Erreichen Deines nächsten Rede- oder Leadership Awards ? Erinnerst Du Dich daran, als Du das letzte Mal ein Handbuch beendet und einen Award erreicht hast ? Das tolle aufregende Gefühl, als Du den großen Umschlag aus Amerika aus dem Briefkasten herausgeholt hast und sich darin das wunderschöne Zertifikat mit Deinem Namen in silberner Schrift befand ? Erinnerst Du Dich wie sehr Du Dich gefreut hast und wie stolz Du gewesen bist ?

Der Unterstützung eines neuen prospective Clubs ? Wir haben eine ganze Reihe von Initiativen zur Gründung neuer Clubs in unserer Division und die Initiatoren freuen sich über jede Unterstützung durch erfahrene Mitglieder! Bitte sprich Deinen Area Direktor oder mich an für genauere Informationen.

Der Teilnahme an einem Wettbewerb ? Bald beginnt die Frühjahrs-Wettbewerbssaison und wir werden Wettbewerbe auf Deutsch und Englisch in Inspirierender Rede und in Bewertungsreden haben. Wettbewerbe erfordern nicht nur großartige Redner, sondern vor allem auch motivierte Wettbewerbsleiter, Hauptpreisrichter, Preisrichter, Zeitnehmer und Zähler. Wir brauche Deine Unterstützung. Bitte hilf dabei sicherzustellen, dass wir auf Club, Area und Division Ebene faire, korrekte und gerechte Wettbewerbe haben werden!

Der Teilnahme an der nächsten District Conference in Berlin ? Wo bist Du am 19.und 20.Mai diesen Jahres ? Die nächste District 95 Conference findet in Berlin statt und ich will Dich ermutigen, an diesem ganz besonderen Ereignis teilzunehmen. Es ist Deine Chance Toastmasters aus mehr als 18 Ländern kennen zu lernen, an interessanten Workshops teilzunehmen und die allerbesten Redner in unserem District zu erleben. Sei dabei wenn wir herausfinden wer unseren District bei der Weltmeisterschaft im Public Speaking in Vancouver vertritt!

Mit Sascha Friedmann, Oliver Hauss, Sandra Eggelhoefer, Kai-Juergen Lietz und Anke Humpert als Area Director haben wir ein Team of Excellence, welches nicht nur sehr hart und mit viel Leidenschaft und Kompetenz arbeitet, sondern welches auch ein “VISA” in Sachen Leadership hat – alle fünf Area Direktoren haben eine Vision, besitzen Integrität, Service-Orientierung und Verantwortungsgefühl (Accountability). Sascha, Oliver, Sandra, Kai und Anke verdienen unseren höchsten Dank, unsere Wertschätzung und unseren Respekt für ihre sehr gute Arbeit !
